The designated operator of Thailand, Thailand Post, wishes to inform UPU member countries and their designated operators that torrential rain in the northern part of Thailand has caused flooding and landslides in Nan (55XXX) and Chiangrai (57XXX) provinces. As a result, road networks have been blocked, causing delays in the transport and delivery of postal items, as well as difficulties for customers in accessing services at post offices located in the affected areas. Thailand Post thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding, and will provide further updates via EmIS as necessary.
