Zimbabwe – IT challenges

The designated operator of Zimbabwe, Zimpost, asks us to inform the designated operators of other Union member countries that it is currently experiencing IT-related challenges, which have been affecting the performance of the IPS system since 4 August 2016, resulting in delays to international mail dispatches. Until these issues have been resolved there will be delays in responding to IBIS inquiries and in the dispatch and delivery of letters and parcels.

Zimpost's IT team is working flat out to rectify the anomalies.

Zimpost thanks all member countries for their understanding, and will update designated operators through EmIS as soon as the situation returns to normal.
