Poste Italiane, would like to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that Poste Italiane has been experiencing issues relating to EMSEVT data transmission for inbound and outbound parcels and EMS items since 29 May 2023. Tracked/registered letter-post items are not affected.
Operations continue as usual and parcels/EMS items are being processed and delivered. Poste Italiane is committed to sending the missing data as soon as possible, but significant delays should be expected.
The Poste Italiane IT department is conducting the necessary investigations. Poste Italiane will keep its partner postal operators updated as to the outcomes of the investigation and resolution of the issues.
Poste Italiane undertakes to provide all of the information available in its systems to its partner postal operators to enable them to deal with their outbound customers. It kindly requests that inquiries be sent only if connected with customer complaints.
