Further to EmIS 152/2026, the designated operator of Spain, Sociedad Estatal Correos y Telégrafos S.A., S.M.E. (Correos), wishes to update Union member countries and their designated operators regarding the recent wildfire outbreak that affected certain regions of Spain. Correos is pleased to report that postal operations and delivery services in the affected areas have now been fully restored. All previous disruptions have been resolved, and the acceptance, processing, transportation and delivery of postal items have resumed under normal operating conditions. Correos would like to express its sincere gratitude to all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding, support and cooperation during this situation.
