The Challenge
Following the opening of its warehouse in Girona in 2018, Vision Direct was looking for a partner to manage all of its shipments in France. It had two key requirements: A supplier would need to allow Vision Direct to continue working with La Poste Group - Colissimo, and it would need to maintain the 48h lead time that Vision Direct is famous for.
Vision Direct´s ideal partner needed to be able to deliver a consistent level of service and build a reliable relationship based on trust.
The Solution
Vision Direct was introduced to Asendia through its common partner, La Poste Group - Colissimo. As the Spanish representative of La Poste - Colissimo, Asendia was able to integrate orders to La Poste Group´s network on the same day that they were made. The timely daily collection offered by Asendia allowed Vision Direct to continue its promise of a 48h delivery service.
Vision Direct has been able to send its products to the French market via e-PAQ Select powered by Colissimo, which offers home deliveries.

Sustainability
As part of EssilorLuxottica Group, Vision Direct is committed to providing environmentally-friendly solutions. By setting up new warehouse points, it aims to limit delivery distances, helping to reduce its carbon footprint. By digitally transforming its services, Vision Direct is also able to significantly minimise paper use.

In Asendia, Vision Direct has found a partner that shares its goal to reduce its impact on the environment. As of 1st January 2022, Asendia has become 100% carbon neutral worldwide.
