IT Operations Manager

Reporting to the Group CIO, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient operation of all Asendia Group global services. You will also be responsible for the design and implementation of the global technical foundations such as network, security, and multi-cloud infrastructure. You will ensure that all services are managed in line with SLAs and incidents and issues are resolved efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction

Your Tasks

 

Lead the IT Operations services team (IT Support, Workplace, Network, Security & multi-cloud Infrastructure engineering)

Ensure reliable day-to-day operation of technology infrastructure, including data centres (on-premises, hybrid cloud), networks, servers, endpoints, and applications as well as efficient implementation of service desk tools, processes, and knowledge base, leading to high adoption rates and positive experiences

Lead CAB (Change Advisory Board) to ensure proper pre-deployment documentation, tasks, communication

Coordinate Service Management teams across the Group as well as Service Management partners

Perform and monitor incident, change and problem management processes and ensure that ITSM standards are adopted throughout the Group

Prepare and review Service Levels, Operation Metrics with KPI reports to measure and analyse effectiveness of IT

Manage lifecycles of IT Operations and Infrastructure components & services

Implement, support, update and test disaster recovery and business continuity plan as well as provide technical development and IS security implementation

 

Your Profile

 

You have a Master’s degree in computer science or related field with a least 5+ years of relevant professional experience including leadership skills

You have proven experiences in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Linux CentOS/RedHat strong skills, Data Base operations

You bring excellent knowledge and understanding of best practices for IT service management, incl. working knowledge of ITIL framework (ITIL Certified)

You are a team player and always have the team and its goals in mind in your way of working. You can delegate effectively

Your strong communication skills ensure the capability of working with people of various nationalities, on varying levels of hierarchy. Colleagues can always rely on you

You speak fluent English as this is our business language. Any other language is an advantage
