British Virgin Islands – Update on the COVID-19 situation

17 August, 2020

Update

The designated operator of the British Virgin Islands, BVI Post, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the borders remain closed to passenger aircraft. However, the curfew has now been lifted.

At this time, BVI Post can only receive mail arriving by cargo aircraft and surface transport. Furthermore, it cannot guarantee compliance with the quality of service and delivery standards applicable under UPU provisions, for all classes of inbound and outbound mail, until further notice.

BVI Post wishes to thank all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding, and will provide further updates via EmIS.
