Canada – Hurricane Fiona in Atlantic Canada Update

Canada Post, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that Hurricane Fiona has brought devastation to the Atlantic provinces of Canada.

The storm has caused huge amounts of damage across the provinces of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island, with power lines and telephone lines down, hundreds of homes destroyed, and at least two deaths reported. Authorities are still assessing the damage and the work needed to reopen roads and restore power and communication.
