The Société Tchadienne des postes et de l'Epargne (STPE), asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, following a new assessment of the public health situation, the country's authorities have decided to reopen Chad's air borders with effect from 0.00 on Thursday, 14 January 2021.
Inbound and outbound postal services have therefore returned to normal. However, owing to the lockdown in the city of N'Djamena, the STPE is not currently able to process postal items sent to or from the rest of the country.
