Macao, China – Measures to limit the spread of COVID-19

04 August, 2021

Update

China, Macao Post asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that the Macao Special Administrative Region has entered a state of immediate prevention with effect from 15.30 local time on Tuesday, 3 August 2021, owing to high risk of a local COVID-19 outbreak.

Certain districts and locations in Macao are locked down, with people living or staying in those areas required to undergo testing, meaning that surrounding roads are blocked. This will affect the delivery of letter-post and EMS items until further notice.

Macao Post thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding. It will update them via EmIS once the situation has returned to normal.
