Hongkong Post, a designated operator of China (specifically for the special administrative region of Hong Kong), wishes to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that the Hong Kong Observatory issued Storm Signal No. 8 on 23 September 2025. The processing and conveyance of all mail will be disrupted. Quality of service for all services (letters, parcels and EMS) will therefore be affected. The impact is expected to last for at least a day upon service resumption while the backlogs are cleared.
