Hong Kong, China – Further disruption to postal services

20 October, 2021

Update

Hongkong Post, the People's Republic of China's designated operator for Hong Kong, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that its mail processing (both inward and outward) and the delivery of inward mail was further interrupted by Typhoon Kompasu as of 12 October 2021. Quality of service for all types of mail services is affected, and it is expected that the impact will last for at least two to three days before the backlog can be cleared. Operations will gradually resume next week Hongkong Post thanks all other Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding.
