Indonesia – – Return to normal following earthquake and severe weather and update on situation related to COVID-19 pandemic

The designated operator of Indonesia, Pos Indonesia, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that the major road network is now back to normal following the heavy rainfall and flooding in many areas of the Central Java and West Java provinces and the earthquake on Sulawesi Island. Therefore, mail transportation and delivery has returned to normal. Pos Indonesia also takes this opportunity to remind other Union member countries and their designated operators that the force majeure situation declared in EmIS messages 189/2020 and 484/2020 remains in effect, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic and the state of alert declared by the Indonesian government.
