Poste Italiane, would like to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that some Italian unions have announced a 24-hour strike, commencing at 00.01 CET on 17 March 2023, involving ground handlers and other airport services personnel, concerning all Italian airports.
Disruption is to be expected with regard to the handling of inbound and outbound airmail at Milan's Linate and Malpensa airports, although mitigation measures will be taken at the airmail units.
