Poste Italiane, would like to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that a 24-hour strike, commencing today at 00.01 CEST time (12 September 2022), has been called by several Unions involving all Italian airport workers as well as ground handling and other companies.
The impact on inbound and outbound airmail handling, at both Milano Linate and Milano Malpensa airports, is expected to be mitigated at the airmail units, but cannot be excluded as the ground handling companies are among those on strike.
