The designated operator of Italy, Poste Italiane, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that a number of Italian trade unions have confirmed a 24-hour strike, commencing at 00.01 CEST on 10 July 2025, involving handling companies. Non-guaranteed flights may face delays or cancellations, and airport services could be disrupted. Despite mitigation measures being adopted by Poste Italiane at its facilities, the impact of the strike may continue over the following days, depending on the level of strike participation.
