Poste Italiane, wishes to provide other Union member countries and their designated operators with the following update:
1 Further errors are being experienced with the customs systems. These are slowing customs processes for parcel-post and EMS items, as well as small packets. IT staff are working round the clock to resolve the issues, together with their customs counterparts.
2 Data transmission disruption is continuing and has worsened, especially for parcel-post and EMS items. While these items are still being processed and delivered, EMSEVT events are not currently being sent. There is still misalignment between internal databases.
This disruption is impacting track and trace, as well as customer services' ability to process inquiries.
