Jamaica – Local government elections

Jamaica Post, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that local government elections will be held in Jamaica on 26 February 2024. Staffing and operational adjustments will be implemented to enable workers and contractors to participate in the election process.

Consequently, all mail operations (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items), ICT and customer service support functions will be limited throughout the course of the day.
