Servicio Postal Mexicano, would like to advise other Union member countries and their designated operators that the situation in Acapulco and the surrounding municipalities remains critical. However, basic postal services (letter-post and parcel-post items) have been re-established.
Servicio Postal Mexicano is still unable to guarantee electronic data interchange with its partners owing to a lack of power and connectivity in the affected areas, as indicated in the aforementioned EmIS message.
