Poland – Lockdown

06 April, 2021

Update

The designated operator of Poland, Poczta Polska, would like to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to the severity of the current situation in Poland with regard to COVID-19, the Polish Government has implemented a national lockdown with effect from 20 March to 9 April 2021.

Poczta Polska will continue to provide postal services in line with public health measures and other restrictions, but will be operating with a reduced workforce. The processing and delivery of all types of inbound and outbound mail (letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items) will continue to be affected, and Poczta Polska is unable to guarantee compliance with the agreed standards.

Poczta Polska wishes to thank all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding.
