Slovenia – Extension of lockdown

20 April, 2021

Update

Pošta Slovenije, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, as a result of concerns about the course of the pandemic, the government has extended the current lockdown by a further 30 days with effect from 17 April 2021.

Pošta Slovenije will continue to provide postal services with a reduced workforce, in line with public health measures and other restrictions. The processing and delivery of all types of inbound and outbound mail (letter post, parcel post and EMS items) will continue to be affected, and Pošta Slovenije is unable to guarantee compliance with the agreed standards. The acceptance of outbound mail items (letter post, parcel post and EMS) for some destinations is still subject to transport availability.

Therefore, the force majeure situation previously notified remains extended until further notice, and the restrictions announced in previous EmIS messages will continue to apply.

Pošta Slovenije thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding.
