Slovenia – Further lockdown restrictions

21 December, 2020

Update

The designated operator of Slovenia, Pošta Slovenije, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators of the continuation of the national lockdown in Slovenia owing to the significant number of new infections.

As of today, the Government of Slovenia has extended the formal declaration of epidemic for another 30 days. The decision was officially published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia, and is available in the Slovene language only via the following link: www.uradni-list.si/1/objava.jsp?sop=2020-01-3330 .

As a result, Pošta Slovenije is officially extending the force majeure opened on 20 October 2020 (EmIS 587/2020), which will therefore continue to be applicable up to 31 December 2020.

Pošta Slovenije thanks all Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding.
