The designated operator of Sri Lanka, the Department of Posts, wishes to inform all other Union member countries and their designated operators that the Government of Sri Lanka has extended the national lockdown until 13 September 2021.
Therefore, the restrictions announced in EmIS messages 219/2021 and 206/2021 will continue to apply, and the Department of Posts will be unable to guarantee compliance with quality of service standards and the quality link to remuneration for all mail categories, as required.
