Canada – End of force majeure situation related to COVID-19

05 May, 2022

Update

Canada Post, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that Canada Post continued to experience significant disruption to its activities in early 2022 owing to the exceptional precautionary measures required to preserve the health and safety of its employees and Canadians, as well as challenges related to the availability of transport links. In April 2022, the situation improved, and Canada Post has reinstated on-time delivery guarantees as of 1 May 2022. The force majeure situation previously declared for all international letter-post, parcel-post and EMS items ended on 30 April 2022.
