Cayman Islands – Update on measures to limit the spread of COVID-19

11 August, 2020

Update

Cayman Islands Postal Service asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to government measures to reduce the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, it has extended the suspension of most international postal operations until Thursday, 1 October 2020.

During this period, designated operators are asked not to dispatch mail to the Cayman Islands, other than on cargo flights via Miami, further details of which are to be found in EmIS 353/2020 of 1 May 2020. The date of 1 October is subject to review by the Cayman Islands Government of the resumption of international passenger flights nearer the time.
The Cayman Islands Postal Service thanks all other Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding. It will update them on any changes via EmIS.
