Estonia – Lifting of the state of emergency

Update

Estonian Post, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that the Estonian Government ended the state of emergency on 17 May 2020 and all postal services will therefore resume as normal.

Estonian Post would like to indicate that, with effect from 12 June, all inbound items will be delivered as follows:

  • Delivery standards will be met as agreed;
  • Registered letters will be delivered to the addressee with collection of the addressee's signature;
  • All courier shipments requiring a signature will be delivered to the addressee and a photo taken of the address card signed by the addressee.
