Italy – National strike

Poste Italiane, would like to inform Union member countries and their designated operators that certain Italian unions have announced a 24-hour general strike, commencing at 00.01 CET on 24 November 2023, involving ground handlers and other airport services personnel at all Italian airports. Therefore, there is a risk of delays and cancellations of non-guaranteed flights.

While mitigation measures will be taken at Poste Italiane facilities, the impact may continue over the weekend and until 27 or 28 November, depending on the response to the call to strike.
