Further to EmIS 453/2020, the designated operator of Lebanon, LibanPost, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, in response to the latest increase in the number of Covid-19 cases, the Lebanese Government has declared a complete lockdown in the country from Thursday, 30 July to Monday, 3 August (end of day) and from Thursday, 6 August to Monday, 10 August (end of day). It should be noted that Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) will remain open to cargo and commercial flights during the above-mentioned period (with additional sanitary controls) and that dispatches can continue to be sent to/from Lebanon.
