Nepal – Update on partial lifting of lockdown

06 July, 2020

Update

The designated operator of Nepal, Nepal Post, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that the Government of Nepal has decided to continue the partial nationwide lockdown, and maintain the suspension of incoming international flights, until 22 July 2020.

The measures implemented to combat the global COVID-19 pandemic have had an impact on the collection, transmission and delivery of mails, and on postal services in general. As previously announced, domestic postal services partially resumed as from 15 June 2020.

Nepal Post thanks other Union member countries and their designated operators for their understanding.
