Seychelles – Force majeure situation

Seychelles Postal Services, asks us to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, all scheduled international flights into and out of the Seychelles have been suspended since March 2020. As a result, Seychelles Postal Services has suspended all outbound mail dispatches, and is only able to receive a few mailbags on special chartered flights operating on an irregular basis. Scanning of items may also be delayed owing to reduced transportation between the islands of the Seychelles. Seychelles Postal Services has therefore declared a force majeure situation until further notice.
