Slovenia – Second wave of the coronavirus

22 October, 2020

Update

The designated operator of Slovenia, Pošta Slovenije, wishes to inform other Union member countries and their designated operators that Slovenia has been hit with the second wave of the coronavirus and that a 30-day state of coronavirus epidemic has been officially declared by the Slovenian government for the entire country, starting on 19 October 2020 (Official Gazette of the Republic of Slovenia No. 146/2020). Wide-ranging restrictions have come into force, including a lower limit for gatherings, a 21.00 to 6.00 curfew across the county, and a ban on movement between statistical regions. The decree also provides a legal basis for additional restrictions if the situation does not improve.
