Thailand Post, would like to update other Union member countries and their designated operators on the situation at the Suvarnabhumi office of exchange (OE) following the resumption of operations on 6 May 2021.
In accordance with the measures and guidelines set out by the Ministry of Public Health, some staff members are in self-quarantine. As a result of the reduced workforce, there are backlogs at the OE warehouse, resulting in mail processing delays for both inbound and outbound mail.
Staff are making every effort to clear the backlogs. However, Thailand Post suggests that designated operators inform their customers of possible delays resulting from this situation.
